Cafe Italia has moved from its South Fort Myers location to Sanibel Island in the picturesque plaza at 751 Tarpon Bay Road. The area has long been the home of Tower Art Gallery. Owner Michael Romano, who was born in Avigno, Italy, offers the highest quality Italian food at a reasonable price. “It is Trattoria-style, like in Italy,” said Romano. The phone number is 239-245-8496.
